The Shire’s Rest is an ideal venue for groups to take a break from travelling before or after participating in a full tour of the Hobbiton Movie Set.
Here, your group can enjoy some refreshments and immerse themselves in the Hobbiton Movie Set and Farm memorabilia.
You and your group will surely enjoy the Hobbit-like setting in the themed Kaimai Room or if you wish, you can simply sit and relax on the balcony, enjoying beautiful rural New Zealand.
We offer catering and refreshment facilities, so do stop and have lunch at the Shire’s Rest. Large or small inbound groups are always welcome. And whatever you do…. don’t forget to use our specially designed Hobbit restroom amenities before you go!
